SECONDARY TOOLING (Silicone Rubber Tooling)

Secondary Tooling is used for producing 10-50 pieces of a single part.  This method is one of the quickest and most cost-effective for replicating your prototype master.  You may select from a range of urethane materials with properties that simulate the thermoplastic materials often used in production.  This process produces small and large parts with excellent part detail. Heat resistant materials are available for automotive underhood components.

Machined Aluminum Tooling is used to create 500 to 5,000 units, depending upon material type. Aluminum Tooling can bridge the gap, before production tooling is available.
